2019 Edina Baseball Tryouts
The Edina Baseball Association tryouts for Minor League players may begin in January and end in the month of March each year.  Our tryout dates are determined taking into account the following considerations:

• Available times of Edina's domed facility at Braemar Park.
• Availability of outside evaluators High School, Legion and other coaching staff.
• To the best of our ability, minimize conflicts with other sporting events.
• A goal of completing all Travel tryouts prior to Spring Break.

Tryout Locations
All tryouts - except hitting - will occur at Braemar Field, Edina's domed facility at Braemar Park. All hitting tryouts will occur at Batting Cages of Minnesota in Edina.

2019 Season Tryout Dates
Tryout dates for players in 4th through 9th grades are noted below for each of the respective grades. Each player is required to attend the entire hitting, pitching or catching tryout.  There are no pitching or catching tryouts for 4th graders as those skills will be assessed as the season begins.  Details will also be posted on the 2019 Tryouts webpage.

Tryout Notes;

SKILLS TRYOUT:

This will take place at the Edina dome. Pitching and catching will also be assessed at the Skills tryout. 

HITTING:

Players will be assigned a time to arrive for their hitting tryout. This will again be e-mailed to parents as well as being posted on the EBA website. During this tryout, a player will be graded by three different hitting evaluators.

FINAL TRYOUT:

Players will be divided into groups for the final tryout. Attendees to the various tryout groups will be e-mailed to parents as well as posted on the EBA website.

Unless posted, we will not be providing make-up sessions for the 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15s. Please contact the EBA if there are conflicts. Click HERE for Tryout FAQs.
