The Edina American Legion team is excited to once again offer a skills clinic to all emerging Hornet baseball stars! Under the guidance of their head coach, Gene Larkin, the Edina Legion team will be teaching the basic skills of baseball to the future Hornets. As a camper, your player will be introduced to the fundamentals of the game--hitting, throwing, fielding, and running.
The clinics are conducted over 3 Sundays in May by the Edina Legion program. We regularly get over 150 EBA players attending the clinics. Coach Larkin staffs the camp with his Legion coaching staff, local college players, and Legion players.
The clinics stress the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, energetic, and inclusive environment. Each day campers will work on throwing, fielding, hitting, and running in order to give them a broad overview of the basics of the game. It is recommended that campers attend all three sessions to get the most from the clinic.
This is a major fundraising effort by our American Legion team and your contributions are greatly appreciated. Parents are welcome to attend and listen in on the instruction. So, come and see what all the excitements is about.
