New 2018 Bat Regulations With the 2017 summer season completed, the EBA would like to make Edina families aware about changes in bat regulations for the 2018 Green/Travel season. Green teams participate in MBL/MBT and they will be adopting the new USA Baseball bat regulations and the bats used next year will be required to have the USA Baseball stamp on them. The USSSA stamped bats will no longer be legal to use in any MBL/MBT game. The new USA Baseball bats will be available in stores and online in October. MBL/MBT will be allowing the USA stamped bat only for the 9-14 ages. The 15’s will be able to use the USA stamped bat and also the BBCOR stamped bat that the 15’s and up has used the past few years.
